LOS ANGELES, CA (WSAU) Jacob Misiorowski mastered the Dodgers on Saturday, pitching the Brewers to a 4-1 win.
Misiorowski allowed 1 run and 5 hits in 6-inings of work. He got out of a 1-out, bases-loaded jam in the 5th by striking out Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman.
Joey Ortiz put the Brewers into the lead in the 2nd inning with a 2-run home run. Leading 2-1 William Contreras hit a 2-run homer to conclude the scoring.
The Brewers maintained their 4-game lead in the NL Central over the Cubs, who lost to the Cardinals on Saturday.
Logan Henderson (6-2) will pitch against the Dodgers on Sunday. Game coverage begins at 2:35pm CT on WSAU.
