MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – One of the Milwaukee Bucks’ first-round picks has been named one of the best players during the 2026 Summer League tournament.
According to a post on X from the NBA, point guard Brayden Burries has been named to the All-Summer League First Team alongside Grizzlies forward and 3rd overall pick Cameron Boozer, Warriors forward Yaxel Lendeborg, Bulls forward Caleb Wilson, and Cavaliers guard Meleek Thomas.
Burries was impressive throughout the tournament, scoring 23.5 points and 4.3 assists per game and finishing top in both categories during the Summer League. Darryn Peterson, the second overall pick by the Utah Jazz, averaged 20.7 points on 30.8% shooting and 4.0 assists across three games.
According to BetMGM, Burries’ odds to win the 2026 Rookie of the Year award are now +5000, which means a $20 wager would result in a $1,000 profit and a total payout of $1,020. Cameron Boozer is the favorite to win the award, with +250 odds.
