ANTIGO, WI (WSAU) — A 40-year-old Antigo man has been arrested on suspicion of a 4th OWI following a traffic stop near the intersection of Claire Road and County Highway A.
It started when officers saw a Ford F-150 crossing the center line at about 5 PM on Friday, July 3rd. While interacting with the driver, identified as Theadore J. Howard of Antigo, they noticed signs of impairment.
Howard failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody for charges including OWI and bail jumping. Court records indicate he has another OWI case in progress, which was filed in Shawano County back in January.
Court action for Friday’s incident is pending. He is due back in Shawano County Court on July 17th.
