Nats pitcher Foster Griffin didn’t allow a hit through 5-innings. The Brewers only run came on a William Contreras home run in the 9th inning. The Brewers had the winning runs on base in the 9th but couldn’t bring them home.
The Nationals and Brewers conclude their series at 12:35pm today on WSAU. Brandon Woodruff (1-0) will pitch for the Brewers.
