John Stalker
STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A Portage County man accused of burglary for stealing underwear from a woman’s dresser is due for a plea and sentencing hearing on October 8th.
John Stalker is accused of breaking into the woman’s house and taking all of her underwear. Valuables and other clothing were undisturbed. The victim noted that none of her roommate’s items were taken, either.
Investigators used security camera footage from nearby homes to piece together a timeline of the events, leading to Stalker’s arrest. When they searched his home, they found the victim and others.
Charges against him include felony burglary, stalking, and bail jumping. Court records show one of the stalking charges involves a victim who is under the age of 18.
The 41-year-old is jailed on a cash bond and has pleaded not guilty to all counts. The charges against him cover four open cases.
