ANTIGO, WI (WSAU) — An Antigo man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her home as she slept.
William Dixon is accused of forcing himself on the woman after a night out. According to the victim, the 27-year-old had run into her at the bar on September 6th. When she left, he followed her to her vehicle and kissed her.
She turned down his advances and left. Dixion then allegedly broke into her home and crawled into bed with her. When she woke up, she tried to fight him off, but he continued to assault her.
Phone records show Dixon also tried calling the woman multiple times after 2:30 AM.
Dixon is now facing charges for burglary, second-degree sexual assault, and bail jumping. The latter stems from an open case in Kenosha County, where he is accused of domestic abuse and false imprisonment.
He is now being held on a $100,000 bond in Langlade County. Court proceedings are scheduled to begin on October 5th with an initial appearance. A status conference for the Kenosha County charges is scheduled for October 7th.
