WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau Fire Department responded to a blaze at Junion Photography on N 3rd Street Sunday.
The fire was reported at about 4:00 PM. Heavy damage was reported to the structure.
In a public Facebook post, owner Dave Junion said he was able to save his cameras and other personal belongings, but the remainder of the building is destroyed.
“Many other[s] have suffered so much more devastation than what I am going thru, I will be fine…..do me a favor….in the next week or so… find someone struggling….give them a hand,” said Junion.
He also thanked the Wausau Police and Fire Departments for their professionalism and service during the incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
