TOWN OF SIGEL, WI (WSAU) — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a 57-year-old Plainfield woman who was killed in a rollover crash on State Highway 73 on Monday.
Lori Whitley died after she was ejected from a pickup as it rolled off the highway at about 5:15 PM. Investigators say the vehicle was heading south on the highway when it left the road and rolled.
First responders provided first aid before Whitley was taken from the scene in an ambulance. She died at the hospital.
Officers did not provide an update on the driver’s condition, 55-year-old Matthew Whitley.
No further information was released.
