BIG FALLS, WI (WSAU) The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the Little Wolf River in Waupaca County.
The operator of the Big Falls Dam says failure is imminent, and that waters will go around the embankment. Life-threatening flash flooding is expected downstream. People in low-lying areas downstream are advised to move to higher ground immediately.
The warning includes the following streams and drainages: Little Wolf River, Blake Creek, Shaw Creek, Little Creek, South Branch Pigeon River and Whitcomb Creek. Flooding is occurring along the Little Wolf River.
