WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Youth baseball and softball teams in the Wausau area have a chance to get new equipment for the summer thanks to the Wausau Woodchucks and Wausau Ignite.
Applications are open for the Northwoods League’s Share the Glove grant program, which helps outfit a youth baseball or softball team with brand-new equipment.
The winning team will receive standard equipment meant for athletes ages 9 through 12, including bats, balls, catcher’s gear, and gloves.

The Share the Glove campaign began in 2018 to inspire a love for and participation in youth baseball and softball throughout communities.
