WESTON, WI (WSAU) — A pedestrian was injured after a vehicle crashed into the entrance of Walgreens Pharmacy in Weston.
First responders were called to the store at the corner of Business 51 and Schofield Avenue at about 4:30 PM. One pedestrian was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver suffered minor injuries.
No citations have been issued. Officers said alcohol was not a factor, and it doesn’t appear that the driver suffered a medical incident.
The incident damaged thefront entrance of the store. Police have increased patrols around the building to prevent looting.
The store will be closed on Tuesday, and possibly longer.
