WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — We now know who will take over the former Whitewater Music Hall and Old Masonic Lodge building in downtown Wausau.
Over the weekend, Vitality Bar announced that they acquired the property late last year and plan to remodel it into “the retreat of our dreams,” according to a Facebook post.
Officials with Vitality Bar add that there is “A lot of work ahead, so don’t expect us to move in tomorrow.”
The property became available when the Whitewater Music Hall shut down in February 2025 after six years of live music and comedy shows. It remained on the market until December, when the property was auctioned off.
Vitality Bar currently operates at 501 N 3rd Street, just across from the 400 Block, offering services like red light therapy, skin resurfacing, hormone replacement, and physician-supervised weight loss plans. Owners say they will share more details about what services they plan to offer in the new location in due course.
