WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — Police in Wisconsin Rapids are reporting an increase in mail theft.
Officers are asking residents to review “any surveillance cameras that may capture your mailbox and review the footage for any suspicious activity, and report anything you may observe,” according to a Facebook post.
Residents have reported missing packages and letters in surrounding communities as well.
Officers add that you can sign up for the free USPS Informed Delivery service to know what you will receive, and to check your mail daily so you don’t miss anything important.
