Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team beat UW-Platteville 69-53 on Wednesday night at the Kohl Center.
It was the annual exhibition game against a D-3 state school and ninth annual Garding Against Cancer benefit game. It also pitted Badger coach Greg Gard against his brother Jeff who coaches the Pioneers.
Nolan Winter had 17 points and 15 rebounds to lead Wisconsin. Austin Rapp had 14 points and seven rebounds and Nick Boyd had 11.
The Badgers will open the regular season vs Campbell on Monday in Madison.
