MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Police in Marshfield have recovered human remains from a lot near the intersection of West McMillian Street and North St. Joseph’s Avenue.
The body was found on Saturday, December 7th. Police say they have been able to identify the body, but will not publicly name them before family members have been notified.
No further information regarding the circumstances surrounding the death has been released. Though officers note this is an isolated incident; there is no danger to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
