FOREST COUNTY, Wis. — (WAOW-WSAU) If you’re looking to add a four-legged friend to your family, then you’re going to want to check this out. The Forest County Humane Society is participating in a national adoption event called “Empty the Shelters”.
The adoption of spayed or neutered pets, who are vaccinated as well as microchipped are available for 50 dollars or less.
Chrystal Ross, the director at the Forest County Humane Society, said, “All animals, deserve a home. As much as we try to make this a great place for them at the humane society, they need a home. They need families to call their own, and I’ll do just about anything that I can do to try to help that .”
The Bissell Pet Foundation national adoption event, “Empty the Shelters” will run through May 15th.
