WAUKESHA, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — On a break from his porn star hush money trial in New York, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held a rally in Waukesha on Wednesday.
Trump promises to get tough on the southern border, and said America will “have the largest deportation in the history of our country.”
“By allowing millions and millions, which is not sustainable, of people coming into our country through the southern border, and many, many really bad ones, you’re gonna destroy Social Security, you’re gonna destroy Medicare, you’re going to destroy the fabric of the country. It’s not sustainable. It’s not affordable by any country.”
The latest Marquette Law School Poll has Trump – who has repeated false claims about his 2022 loss in Wisconsin – narrowly leading President Joe Biden in the state.
Trump was also scheduled to make a campaign stop in Michigan on Wednesday.
