WESTON, WI (WSAU) — A former D.C. Everest girls basketball player and current teacher will take over as varsity coach next season.
Lauren Bullis will take over the program this summer after serving as a 7th-grade coach and varsity assistant for the Evergreens last season. She currently serves as a physical education teacher in the school district.
Bullis is a 2013 graduate of D.C. Everest and played basketball at UW Stevens Point. Her career has also taken her to the Spencer and Merrill school districts, where she was a teacher and coach as well.
She takes over for Koleman Schilling. The Evergreens went 3-22 last year and 0-12 in Wisconsin Valley Conference play.
