WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – State of Affairs episode twelve is now available, featuring Republican Wisconsin 35th Assembly Rep. Calvin Callahan joining the program to discuss his campaign and issues facing the state.
While discussing Gov. Evers’s recent decisions to veto several bills that would’ve provided tax cuts to Wisconsinites, Callahan says getting the recently vetoed tax credits reintroduced and getting Gov. Evers on record about this issue will be important moving forward saying, “I think the (vetoed tax credits) should be brought back up and I know I’d support them brought back up because we need to continually put him (Gov. Evers) on record that way the people of Wisconsin can know where he truly stands on these issues but I think it’s quite clear at least from my perspective from someone who spends time in Madison and out that, a lot conservative hard-working individuals don’t always have time to follow the news so this needs to put out there.”

Evers’s decisions when it comes to vetoing the tax credit bills, the ongoing debate on allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports, and what he thinks of the close U.S. Senate race between Eric Hovde and Tammy Baldwin as a new poll shows the race statistically tied.
