WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Wausau will host the 2024 Lake Superior Conference collegiate ultimate frisbee championship this weekend.
Eight teams representing seven schools from Wisconsin and one from Michigan will meet to determine a league champion. The field includes six University of Wisconsin schools along with Marquette and Northern Michigan.
UW Campuses represented will include Madison, Stevens Point, Eau Claire, Whitewater, La Crosse, and Milwaukee.
UW Madison are the top seed. Eau Claire, Milwaukee, and La Crosse round out the top four.
The action begins at Brockmeyer Park on Saturday at 9 AM. Teams are seeded 1 through 8 and divided into two pools.
After pool play, teams will be re-seeded into an eight-team knockout bracket on Sunday.
