PLOVER, WI (WSAU) — With bad winter weather likely on the way this week, some municipalities are beginning to prepare early.
The Village of Plover has announced a snow emergency beginning on Thursday at noon and lasting until Friday 24 hours later. A snow emergency designates that residents cannot be parked on streets to make it easier for plows. Vehicles parked on streets could be towed or ticketed at the owner’s expense.
Other communities are likely to declare snow emergencies as a clearer picture of the weather for Thursday and Friday emerges.
