MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a teen who is said to be in a “crisis situation.”
Wyatt Canon is suspected of stealing a handgun and ammo from family members in North Carolina. He may be driving a stolen Jeep Liberty with North Carolina plates RVP3362, though those may have been removed.
Canon was a Marshfield resident at one time but has since moved away.
It’s unclear where the 16-year-old may be headed but family members say he could be trying to get back to Marshfield or to the Dakotas or Minnesota, where he also has family.
Canon’s family says he requires medication for mental health but doesn’t have that medicine with him making the situation urgent. Anyone who sees Canon or the vehicle is asked to call 911.
