Hello there, I hope you're staying safe and not going too bonkers for having to be at home. I've noticed on all social media that people have taken advantage of the “Safer At Home” order and catching up on streaming services (shows and movies), a couple of weeks ago I heard about the docu-series “Tiger King”, EVERYONE has been talking about it. It is the most streamed show in the US right not. Korina and I had some time on Sunday and decided to watch it. Was it worth it? **WARNING-some spoilers ahead, if you haven't seen it, stop reading**
Yeah, I guess it was worth it. After every episode Korina and I looked at each other and said “What the heck did we just watch?!” (There are 7 episodes, about 45 minutes a piece). Basically, it's a story about a guy from Oklahoma that has been raising and breeding tigers and other exotic animals (some, if not most of it was illegal) his name is Joe Exotic and the series takes you through Joe's bizarre adventures (using that term loosely). We meet another host of characters like all the employees at the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, a former drug king-pin named “Doc” Antle (who might also be into some other shady stuff), Jeff Lowe who ends up taking the animal park from Joe. And finally, Carole Haskin, Joe doesn't like her at all because she runs a tiger conservatory in Florida and does everything she can to put Joe out of business.
Joe plans a murder-for-hire plot to get rid of her, it doesn't work. Joe is an eccentric fella who ends up running for president and then governor of Oklahoma, again it doesn't work. Joe descends into madness and boy is it intriguing!
Do you want to watch a show that is completely bonkers? Watch this one. It will make you laugh, confused and probably angry. Did you see it? Did you like it? Comment below, stay safe and thanks for reading.
