Band and Choir students have traveled to music festivals in Dallas, Texas; Washington D.C.; Chicago, Illinois; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Toronto, Canada to name a few. Each year multiple events advance to the state solo and ensemble festival in May. Two Iola students have received the special state "Exemplary Soloist Award".

School Accomplishments

The School District of Iola-Scandinavia has a strong commitment towards insuring the academic success of each and every student. Students have the opportunity to take part in a varied array of academic coursework, rounded out with strong athletics, and fine arts programming.
