HACKETT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A 67-year-old man from Prentice was found dead on Worcester Lake after being reported missing on June 27.
The Price County Sheriff’s Office received the report around 4:31 p.m. that a man was believed to be on the lake in the Township of Hackett. Multiple agencies searched the lake and located the man, who was pronounced dead.
The sheriff’s office is withholding the man’s name at this time.
The Prentice Fire Department, Prentice EMS, Pike Lake Fire Department, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Price County Coroner’s Office and neighboring citizens assisted with the search.
