Yesterday (3/31/2019) was such an amazing day at the Central Wisconsin Convention & Expo Center, it was transformed into the ultimate concert venue for the 2019 Hodag Pick-Off. We hade 7 amazing acts perform and compete to our representative at this year's Hodag as part of the Wisconsin State Country Band Contest!
Branded, The Brady Luke Band, Genesee Depot, Cody Earl, Abby & Luke, Fire On High and Lassos & Lace were all amazing! Ultimately, Branded won it followed by The Brady Luke Band and then Genesee Depot. The judges had the toughest decision they ever had to make because the talent in the room was beyond anything I have ever seen in my life.
I came to the realization that Central Wisconsin has some of the best talent for country music in the USA, dare I say the world. I highly recommend if you get a chance to see any of those guys live, do it and I think you'll also see their talent. I'm so proud of all of them. I hope ALL of them come back and compete next year.
