56th Annual Gem & Mineral Show




FREE fun family event. Lots to see and do.
The 56th annual Gem & Mineral show hosted by the Lakeland Gem & Mineral Club will be held July 18 & 19, 2025 at the Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua, Wisconsin, located on State Highway 70 west in Minocqua.
This two day event features over 120 vendor tables with educational displays about gems, minerals, crystals, rocks, fossils and geology; lapidary demonstrations; silent auctions; activities for kids; and dealers with rough and finished products for sale.
FREE admission both days on Friday July 18th from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday July 19th from 9 am to 5 pm. NEW THIS YEAR........ FREE rock painting for kids.
We have something for everyone, from seasoned rockhounds to new collectors and jewelry lovers. Our vendors enjoy sharing their expert knowledge and you're sure to learn new things about rockhounding and maybe even find the perfect piece to add to your collection.
Explore a dazzling array of gems, minerals, crystals, fossils, beads, arts and crafts and unique handcrafted jewelry pieces.
Demonstrations on Geode Cracking, Wire Wrapping, Wire Weave and Sculpture, Macrame Bezel Creation and Lapidary tools of the trade.
So you found a really cool rock but no idea what it is? Bring it to the show or one of our club meetings and let us put our knowledge to work. Want to turn it into something impressive? We can help there also.
The Lakeland Gem & Mineral Club is a Non Profit Geology and Earth sciences club for the Wisconsin Northwoods and Upper Peninsula of Michigan and has hosted a gem and mineral show since 1969 - this is the 56th year.
