MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – Jackson Churio delivered a walk-off 2 RBI hit to lift the Brewers to a 4-3 win over the Padres.
The Brewers rallied off reliever Mason Miller, who walked two in the 9th before Churio’s 2-strike hit.
Churio hit a 101-mile-per-hour fastball up the middle past Jake Cronenworth.
It was the second straight game where the Padres couldn’t hold a 2-0 lead.
The Brewers now lead the best-of-five series 2-game-to-none. Both teams are off for a traveling day on Tuesday. The series resumes on Tuesday night in San Diego.
