GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Packers were booed going into the locker room at halftime, and the boo-birds were prominent throughout the second half in a 35-14 loss to the Falcons.
It was the first win of the season for Atlanta, behind quarterback Michael Penix Jr. He completed 18 of 25 passes for 256 yards.
The Packers were out-rushed in the game 242 yards to 17.
A key moment in the game came on the opening drive of the second half. The Packers marched the ball down to the 7 yard line while trailing 17-7. They went for it on 4th down and 1, and turned the ball over on an overthrown pass to the end zone. The Falcons then marched 93 yards downfield and went up by three scores.
The Packers (1-2) are off until October 4th when they play at Tampa Bay.
