PHILLIPS, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A child is in custody for threatening comments made against the Phillips School District
WAOW TV reports that the threats were made after classes on Wednesday. Officers responded immediately and questioned the juvenile and their parent. They determined there was no threat to the school or the public. The child is now in custody.
The investigation is ongoing, and information is still being reported and followed up on.
Police say there is currently no active threat to the school or the public. The matter is being referred to the Department of Health and Human Services.
