NEW YORK, Aug 26 (Reuters) – A U.S. judge on Wednesday dismissed a lawsuit by Elon Musk’s X seeking to void a New York state law requiring social media companies to disclose how they monitor hate speech, extremism, harassment, foreign political interference and disinformation.
The decision was issued by U.S. District Judge John Cronan in Manhattan. X is part of Musk’s company SpaceX.
