Milwaukee Brewers
LOS ANGELES, CA (WSAU) — The LA Dodgers scored a 3-1 win over Milwaukee on Friday, leveling the four-game series between the two contenders at a game apiece.
The Brewers’ offense mustered just five hits. Joey Ortiz and Luis Lara led the way, each recording a double. The duo teamed up to score Milwaukee’s lone run in the 5th on a sac fly by Ortiz that scored Lara.
David Hamilton and Jackson Chourio also recorded hits.
Starter Robert Gasser allowed eight hits and three earned runs over 6.1 innings. That included solo home runs from Tommy Edman and Andy Pages in the 5th and 6th innings.
Milwaukee is now 75-48 on the season, one game up on the Dodgers for the best record in the National League. Game three is tonight, with coverage beginning at 5:40 on WSAU.
