TOWN OF HULL, WI (WSAU) — A Portage County man is suspected of an OWI in connection with an injury crash with a pedestrian.
First responders were called to the 5500 block of Jordan Road at about 8:20 Thursday evening for a report of a hit-and-run crash that injured a man on an electric-powered skateboard. The driver left the scene but was later identified as 30-year-old Samuel Milkey and arrested.
The victim sustained serious injuries and has been hospitalized. Initially, officers were unable to identify him and put out a request for information at about 8:30 AM Friday. He was identified one hour later, but his name has not been released.
Officers added that the victim had been seen riding the electric skateboard along Jordan Road near Jordan Park on several occasions.
Court action against Milkey is pending.
