Enhnort Leonardo Araujo Valero
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Chicago resident suspected of implanting electronic devices in at least two Central Wisconsin ATM’s is now facing more legal trouble.
Court records show Enhnort Araujo-Valero is facing two more open cases: one for possession of child pornography and another count of interfering with an ATM. The latter charge matches a previously filed case, in which Araujo-Valero is accused of breaching an ATM at Brokaw Credit Union in Weston last December.
Officers responded to the location to find Araujo-Valero sitting in a vehicle with a computer and about $400 in $20 bills. He was arrested and jailed following a court appearance.
Similar charges were filed against him in Waupaca County in the spring. At that time, officers said more charges were possible.
Court records show the two most recent cases were filed on May 14th and June 3rd. Those cases have been tied to the original Marathon County charge, meaning they will move forward together.
The 27-year-old is due in Marathon County for a pretrial conference. He has not entered a plea to any of the charges.
He is being held on a $25,000 cash bond with several conditions, including no contact with the Brokaw Credit Union and no contact with anyone under 18. Should he post the cash, he would also be forced to stay in Marathon County while awaiting trial.
