TOWN OF LITTLE BLACK, WI (WSAU) — One person has died from a shooting incident in the Taylor County Town of Little Black.
Officers were called to a home at about 8:45 PM, where they found the victim unresponsive in the front yard. Despite life-saving measures, the victim died at the scene.
Dispatchers noted that the call came in as an “accidental shooting” in the home. Upon further investigation, one person was taken into custody. It’s unclear what charges could be brought against them.
No further information, including the names of those involved, has been released. Officers add that the incident is isolated and there is no threat to the public.
