HANCOCK, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – With the Super Bowl this weekend, millions of people were watching the big game and the big commercials.
And, for the second year in a row, one of those will feature a Wisconsin farm.
During this year’s big game Heartland Farms, INC. helped inspire a Lay’s Super Bowl commercial, putting the state’s agriculture front and center for audiences nationwide.
The Pavelski family has been growing potatoes for five generations and has partnered with Lay’s for more than 70 years — leading to the chance to be featured in a Super Bowl commercial for the second year in a row.
“It has been such an honor, like working with Lay’s and seeing agriculture on such a big stage, having that spotlight,” says Alicia Pavelski, Heartland Farms, INC. Project Manager.
Last year’s commercial featured their daughter, who likes to help out in the fields.
