MERRILL, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A Tennessee man was sentenced on January 26 for his involvement in a 2025 Lincoln County shooting incident.
Bobby Dabbs pleaded no contest to first-degree reckless injury and resisting or obstructing an officer during a hearing on Monday, according to WAOW TV. He was then sentenced to 12 years in prison and eight years of extended supervision.
The 27-year-old was initially charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide and other charges last March after a shooting at X to C Golf Course in Gleason on Feb. 7, 2025. Court records show the attempted homicide charge was dropped later that month. In October, an aggravated battery charge was also dropped as part of a plea deal.
Dabbs was credited with nearly 1 year already served in jail.
