RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU) — A skier involved in a crash at Granite Peak has died from his injuries.
Wauau Pilot and Review reports that the unidentified man crashed into a tree after losing a ski and falling. Ski patrol helped the man to the bottom of the hill and provided first aid until an ambulance arrived. He was taken to a local hospital and died.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. No further information has been released.
