WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Milwaukee man is facing numerous charges including sexual assault for an attack on an inmate at the Marathon County Jail in downtown Wausau.
The Wausau Pilot and Review reports that Javon Grayson-Morrow, 24, was charged on November 19th for the attack of his cellmate back in October.
Police responded to the report of an attack inside the jail. The victim said that Grayson-Morrow threatened to stab him. He then hit him several times, put him in a chokehold and sexually assaulted him. The victim, who is not being identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Grayson-Morrow, who was in jail facing drug charges, is now charged with second-degree sexual assault and battery. A preliminary hearing is set for December 11th.
