STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A jury trial is scheduled to begin on Monday for a Portage County man accused of attempted homicide.
Justin Wojtalewicz faces five felony counts, including attempted homicide, aggravated battery, and recklessly endangering safety with a firearm. Officers say he shot Ryan Wojtalewicz at a home in Amherst last spring during an argument.
Ryan was hospitalized for a gunshot wound in his leg, but survived the incident.
The trial is scheduled to run through Friday. Justin faces more than 150 years in prison if found guilty on all counts.
