MADISON, Wis. (October 25, 2025) – The Wisconsin FFA Foundation proudly announces the launch of its new sustainable giving initiative, Rooted in Giving Circle. Officially introduced on October 25 in conjunction with Make a Difference Day, the program establishes a community of dedicated supporters who are rooted together in advancing Wisconsin FFA through consistent annual or monthly giving.
Funds raised through the Rooted in Giving Circle will directly benefit FFA members through the Wisconsin FFA Foundation’s Annual Fund by supporting leadership programming, award recognition, grants, and other key areas. With over 27,000 Wisconsin FFA members and growing, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation is committed to ensuring that every member has the resources and experiences they need to develop premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
Wisconsin FFA Executive Director Ellen Schutt emphasized the importance of the program, stating, “Every gift, large or small, can make all the difference to a Wisconsin FFA member. It provides them with opportunities, tools, and memories to help them become the leaders we need today.”
Members of the Wisconsin FFA Foundation Board are the founding individuals of the Rooted in Giving Circle, demonstrating their personal commitment to the Foundation’s mission. Wisconsin FFA Foundation Board Member Natalie Killion shares why she is joining the Rooted in Giving Circle, “As an FFA member, a circle of mentors helped shape my future. The Rooted in Giving Circle allows me to pay that forward, conveniently providing lasting support for the next generation of leaders with meaningful ways to stay connected to the Wisconsin FFA community.”
The Board now challenges alumni, sponsors, and community members to follow their lead, by becoming members of the Rooted in Giving Circle and making a recurring donation.
Starting at just $5, supporters can join the Rooted in Giving Circle at any level. As part of the Rooted in Giving Circle, members receive exclusive invitations to FFA events, public recognition, and additional benefits based on their level of support.
