Don’t Panic! It’s Only a Drill: Wausau Schools Practicing Evacuation Protocols Tomorrow

WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Every school in the Wausau School District are practicing evacuation drills tomorrow and Wednesday. This is to ensure that students are prepared in case of a real emergency.

The drill particularly covers responses to emergencies, such as, fires, gas leaks, and power outages.

Diana White, Coordinator of Communications and Marketing, wants everyone to know that this is just a drill. If you see students evacuating, they are only practicing the protocol and are in no real danger.
