MADISON, WI (WSAU) — A Chippewa Falls man has been sentenced for federal drug charges after pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine.
Leroy T. McNamara will serve seven years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of distributing more than 50 grams of the drug. Additional terms of his punishment were not disclosed.
McNamara, 62, was caught selling 335 grams of meth to undercover informants in July of 2024. The sales took place in two separate transactions.
At the sentencing, US District Judge William Conley remarked that McNamara’s willingness to profit from the addictions of others through his escalated drug dealing made him a danger to society.
