Sally Jahnke
NEILLSVILLE, WI (WSAU) — A Mosinee woman will serve five years in prison and another five years on extended supervision as part of a plea deal covering three counts, including felony child enticement and misdemeanor sexual assault.
Sally Jahnke was sentenced on Tuesday after pleading guilty to the charge in July. A charge for second-degree child sexual assault was dismissed but read into the record. The 47-year-old will also spend the rest of her life on the state’s sex offender registry and complete treatment and counseling.
Investigators say Jahnke, a youth minister at the Abby Free Church in Abbortsford, had an inappropriate relationship with a boy, which included kissing and physical contact. The victim noted that they would sometimes sneak off during Church events and kiss.
The victim’s parents also noted what they felt was inappropriate contact between Jahnke and the victim at Church events, which included her giving shoulder rubs and stroking the boy’s hair.
The complaint notes that the victim was a student at the Church’s Christian Academy. The accusations outlined in the complaint occurred between June and July of 2022, with charges formally filed in February 2024. Investigators also saw Snapchat messages between the two from early 2023 in which Jahnke discussed sending the victim photos of herself as she was changing.
Jahnke’s sentence also includes a full no-contact order against the victim and any child under the age of 18, though she will be allowed to have contact with her own children.
