CHICAGO, Ill (WSAU) — The Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field. The Cubs have won three of the first four games in this five game set.
The Brewers had the bases loaded in the 9th inning when William Contreras lined out to end the game.
Former Brewer Colin Rea picked up his 10th win of the season for Chicago. Jacob Misiorowski took the loss. He gave up three runs on one hit with five Ks and three walks over 4 innings of work.
Brice Turang, Blake Perkins and Danny Jansen had the Brewers RBIs.
Milwaukee is now six games up on the Cubs in the Central Division and will face Chicago again this afternoon…pre game show at 12:45 on WSAU.
