WAUTOMA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Nicole Prutzman, 39, and James Prutzman, 46, both of Wautoma, have been arrested and charged amid an ongoing criminal investigation into allegations of sexual assault involving multiple children. They were booked into the Adams County Jail on August 11.
Nicole Prutzman faces charges of sexual intercourse with a child, two counts of incest, and repeated sexual assault of a child. Meanwhile, James Prutzman is charged with repeated sexual assault of a child, second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16, and three counts of incest with a child.
On Wednesday both had initial court appearances where their cash bail was set at $50,000.
The investigation is ongoing, and more charges may be added. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office, is handling the case. Sheriff Brent York emphasized the gravity of the charges and stated that no further details will be released at this time.
