MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) Everything continues to go right for the Brewers.
WIlliam Contreras appeared to fly out in the 7th inning, but the play was called dead because of a pitch clock violation. He hit a home run on the next pitch, powering the Brewers to a 7-4 win.
Relief pitcher Shelby Miller, aquaired from the Diamondbacks, made his first Brewers’ appearance and worked a 3-up 3-down 6th inning.
The Brewers have won 8 straight and have the best record in the major leagues. The Mets are on a 6-game losing streak.
Quinn Priester, who has won 10 straight decisions, pitches against the Mets on Sunday. Game coverage begins at 12:35pm on WSAU.
