WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin AAA American Legion State Tournament concluded over the weekend while the AA and A Tournaments continue today.
In Stevens Point Middleton earned the AAA State Championship with a 14-2 win over De Pere on Saturday. They had advanced earlier in the day with an 11-1 win over the Appleton Doubledays.
Both Middleton and De Pere advance to national regional play this week in Carol Stream Illinois.
New London is the site of the AA State Tournament which began on Friday. Here is the scoreboard & schedule:
