WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — On Thursday, May 1st, Many of Marathon County’s outdoor recreation trails will open for the summer.
That includes the Burma Forest ATV/UTV trails and the horse and mountain bike trails in the Big Eau Pleine, Nine Mile Forest, Kronenwetter, and Leather Camp county parks and forests.
Sylvan Hill Mountain Bike Trails remain closed until further notice.
Users are reminded to remain on the marked trails at all times. Horseback riders should wear blaze orange whenever they are near County Forests as well.
