It’s so hard to believe that I’ve been doing the Vitality Program at Eleve Medspa for almost 4 months now.
The biggest change that I’ve noticed since starting, is that I don’t crave sugar or simple carbs like I used to. And if I do, I am satisfied by one small bite.
It’s crazy – but it makes SENSE – that when you start nourishing your body with the things it needs, and you stay consistent with it, that’s what your body will continue to crave.
My body was producing too much insulin and it’s no wonder – I had been eating way too much sugar and simple carbs my whole life, and my metabolism was starting to slow down. I know a a lot of us think that once our bodies reach a certain point, or we reach a certain age, that there’s no hope. However, Eleve’s Vitality program proves otherwise.
We all think that making healthy changes to our body is hard – but let me tell you from my own experience, it’s all about mindset.
If you believe you can, you most certainly can – and you can have FUN doing it too!
For example, I’ve found lots of healthy alternatives to foods I already enjoy such:
-Swapping regular cow’s milk to almond milk
-swapping white bread for low-carb bread
-swapping chocolate ice cream for chocolate protein shakes
And on top of those alternatives, I’ve been incorporating WAY more delicious protein into my meals such as:
-Cheese (Wisconsinite – DUH)
-Eggs: (omelettes, scrambled, sunny side up – you name it)
-Peanut Butter (it’s delicious melted and drizzled on low-carb french toast, or added into my protein shake)
-Meat of all kinds but mostly grilled chicken, yummo
And the best part is, the team at Eleve is amazing at keeping you accountable, cheering you on, and doing everything they can to make the changes to a healthier you as enjoyable as possible.
